Seeking counseling can be intimidating and I work hard to make it as comfortable as possible. Rest assured, progress can be made, relationships can heal, and families can be functional again. I am skilled at helping clients heal hurts, process conflict, set boundaries, and build closeness. I have extensive training in a variety of therapies including Gottman Method Couple Therapy, Emotionally-Focused Therapy, EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and other research-based tools. I focus on client's needs and work to find solutions for their concerns.
I assist clients to validate feelings and needs in significant relationships. My skills include guiding others to resolve issues in regards to communication, career, education, infidelity, personality differences, emotional distance, intimacy, conflict, stressful schedules, divorce, grief, step-families, and parenting challenges.
I have a background in education and years of experience in couple and family therapy. I strive, personally and professionally, to build strong families and relationships. I provide Christian counseling to clients wanting to incorporate their faith and biblical principles in our work together. I work to tailor treatment specific to your needs and family.
