With such uncertain times, every individual and relationship is struggling with the most basic tasks of day-to-day living. This collective trauma has re-triggered past traumas in addition to increasing anxieties, mood issues, sleep problems, and a strong sense of unease. Individuals, as well as couples, are looking to go from surviving to thriving in this “new normal.” I can help you with this leap towards a more satisfying life. I teach skills and give tools to individuals/ couples, allowing for a greater sense of peace and fulfillment with their lives.
I use a Gottman therapy approach which looks at how couples get into trouble, what can increase emotional/physical intimacy, and how to handle conflict. A client-focused, eclectic talk therapy approach helps individuals optimize emotional health. I use EMDR for trauma as well as other psychological symptoms. Phone/ Video sessions are safe and private.
I'm compassionate with a genuine, down-to-earth style that allows a feeling of comfort and fairness. My greatest strength is the ability to maintain and convey a strong vision of each client's true potential despite the struggles and self-doubt inherent in the process of change.
