Struggle with body image? Think you're not good enough? Low self-esteem can cause depression, anxiety, and isolation, leading some to engage in harmful behaviors to distract, punish, or change themselves. Comparing ourselves to others is something we're all guilty of, but it can lead us down a spiral of self-loathing and criticism. My hope is to restore your belief in yourself and ability to produce positive self change. Together we can start or continue a journey towards self acceptance and body satisfaction.
I also enjoy working with mood and personality disorders, often found co-occuring with eating disorders. I appreciate the need for vulnerability and make a strong effort to build solid and trusting relationships with my clients. I will meet you where you are and join you in building your life worth living.
At Life Worth Living we value collaboration and team treatment, as we work to advocate for you in and out of session. In addition to mental health counseling, we also offer nutrition counseling and partner with other health and wellness providers in the area to assist in creating your individualized treatment plan.
