I use a person-centered approach to create a validating environment in which one can open up without judgement, feel genuinely cared for, and develop a trusting therapeutic relationship. For me, it is first about the therapuetic relationship and then the techniques which I utilize that are custom fit for each of my clients.
I have experience working with the old and young; I am skilled in helping adults navigate depression, bipolar, personality disorders, anxiety, interpersonal relationships, life transitions, chronic illness, stress, grief and loss, couple and marital issues. Also, I can help children and teens with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, divorce, trauma, abuse
Although, I have lot of experience in working with individuals with different struggles, I also have a specialty of Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with children and teens. I am working toward EMDR certification. I have a lot of experience using play therapy with little ones. Also, I have a strong background in grief counseling.
