Hi! I am happy to help you, your child/teenager or family process any type of difficulty. I have helped families transitioning through a separation, children and teens with behavioral and emotional issues and individuals struggling with life changes. I provide a warm and non-judgmental atmosphere to explore your concerns safely using a psychodynamic approach which includes, but is not limited to CBT, interpersonal, family, mindfulness, play and art therapy techniques. I welcome you to call or email me to schedule a FREE 20 minute phone consultation to determine if we would be a good match.
I have an extensive history successfully helping children and families lead happier lives by pinpointing the complication and guiding them to create effective coping skills through mindful based methods. The mindfulness based techniques that we have used in session allowed the opportunity for an individualized coping skill set to emerge naturally.
I have been studying Buddhism and meditation for 20 years. Using this ancient wisdom and personal experience, I have found that mindfulness techniques are incredibly useful in therapy sessions to help clients connect with their inner self and gain the natural ability to tap into their own wisdom.
