I am a Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Counselor and have a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling through Wayne State College that I completed in 2022. I have experience with managing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, women's issues, coping skills development, perfectionism, intellectualizing, and trauma. I primarily work with teens and young adults. I also have experience working with the LGBTQ+ community in aligning with who they are, affirming care, and improving self-compassion. I have provided in-home, tele-health and outpatient services.
I connect with a person-centered approach combined with mindfulness-based techniques to meet client needs including learning to regulate emotions, communicate, improve relationships, build coping skills, and set boundaries.
I believe in building a compassionate and non-judgemental atmosphere while using humor when appropriate to create a space that is safe to open up in. It is an honor to be trusted enough to walk through your healing journey together and I look forward to working with you.
