I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Georgia, Florida, and Ohio. My interest in behavioral health began several years before as a public school teacher. I began to see a growing need for behavioral health services in the students I taught year to year. After completing my MSW program, I began working in community health with a school based mental health program working with children, adolescents, and families. I then switched my focus some and became Director of Social Services in an inpatient psychiatric and behavioral health hospital. This allowed me to work more with adults who are struggling with depression,
anxiety, stress, panic attacks, substance abuse, trauma, PTSD, self-harm, family problems, relationship problems, divorce, anger management, and life changes.
I enjoy using a variety of techniques and therapies including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Solution Focused Therapy along with a strengths based psychodynamic approach to meet clients where they are. I feel passionate about behavioral health and strive to help individuals change their lives one session at a time.
