I am licensed to practice psychology in both Massachusetts and Vermont. I have an in-person practice in Brattleboro, VT and a virtual practice serving Massachusetts clients.
My approach to psychotherapy is integrative, pragmatic, and theoretically grounded in the biopsychosocial model. When assessing clients and their treatment needs, I recognize individuals are embedded within a complex web of social relationships and are influenced by larger political, economic, and environmental forces.
I specialize in treating anxiety disorders and supporting individuals during times of transition, including young adults, new parents, and those looking to make career changes. I use evidenced-based techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness practice to treat anxiety and mood disorders, and motivational interviewing techniques to guide clients who are struggling with behavior change. My extensive background in neuropsychology and cognitive assessment informs my understanding and treatment of clients who struggle with focus, procrastination, and follow-through.
My treatment approach is tailored to the individual: While some clients prefer a more structured and directive approach, others benefit most from a safe and supportive environment free from expectations and pressure.
