The human experience presents everyone with challenges. When we are facing difficult life transitions and emotions that thwart our efforts to live our best we can feel overwhelmed. The opportunity provided in pursuing therapy is that you don't have to take this journey alone and use guess work to come up with solutions. Working together we I can address the challenges you face. I will provide you with understanding and support that offers you a new perspective on your issues and specific tools to assist you on this journey.

I have been a psychotherapist for 30 years. In 1994, I received my Masters in Clinical Social Work from Washington University in St.Louis. I started my career at Washington University School of Medicine from 1994-2009 I provided doctors and scientists in training with psychotherapy.

The focus of my work has been providing treatment to adults challenged by difficult life transitions, relationship challenges, depression, anxiety and substance abuse. I am trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma informed, dialectical behavioral therapy and psychodynamic theory.
