Beginning therapy oftentimes generates a host of mixed emotions. I want clients to know they are seen and heard as we begin working together to create and address treatment goals. I see my role as a therapist as utilizing my skills to help clients recognize their strengths in order to be able to create a healthier, balanced life. I specialize in addressing anxiety, grief and loss, life transitions, trauma and building communication skills.
I utilize a variety of modalities including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Motivational Interviewing as tools to best help clients achieve their goals.
Life presents many challenges, but with therapy it is possible to identify and develop tools to create positive change for a client. I look forward to using my skills to empower a client's growth and a more fulfilling life.
