My practice includes folks of all ages/stages from young children to those entering the third third of life, I work with people who seek to know themselves more deeply & who want to uncover patterns & ways of being that no longer serve them. I especially love high conflict family work & working with parent/child connections. I utilize art, sandtray, movement & play as I see fit. I find couples therapy to be a potent vehicle of change for both the individual and for the couple. I blend Non-Violent Communication, IFS, Synergetic Play Therapy, Gestalt & Radical Aliveness in all my sessions. I also offer Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy.
I am trained to hold whole systems, so even working 1-1, I help illuminate connections/relational patterns so that other choices are possible. I see my job as helping folks reconnect with their inner healer, (even if they think they don’t have one!) My lens always includes an awareness of how the dominant culture shapes and limits us.
Therapy is a beautiful laboratory to experience one’s self more fully. I bring presence along with humor, warmth, vulnerability & courage. Good therapy asks good & hard questions. What are you made of? How did larger forces shape you? What does healing look like for you? How were you hurt? How did you learn to fit in/stay safe? Let’s co-discover your answers.
