My name is Jen Larratt-Smith, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 10 years of experience. I work primarily with adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, and the effects of trauma. My style best fits adults who find themselves struggling with anxiety, or depression or the effects of trauma. Sometimes it is a situational stressor that triggers these symptoms. Sometimes it is a chronic struggle with their self-esteem or their difficult past.
My approach varies by the needs of the client, but my default therapeutic style is Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). I am trained in a number of modalities including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
My goal is to create a warm, supportive environment of genuine care and human connection so that clients can grow and begin to make positive change. I strive to listen well and maybe share a laugh or two with you if you are open to it.
