My ideal client is anyone from age 0-80 that has struggled with trauma in their life including emotional, medical, physical and sexual. My focus has been trauma for the last 14 years. I would love for this client to be passionate about growth and willing to be engaged in both treatment planning and treatment.
It is at times a struggle for individuals to see how trauma has effected them over the years. They will often believe they are over it or they have put if out of their mind without realizing that it is effecting their everyday life, occupationally, cognitively, socially, and physically, substance abuse and more.

I've been engaged in working with trauma for 14 years with the last 10 at Post Grad Level. My Certifications are Certified Qualified Supervisor, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Reunification Therapy, CBT (Adults & Children - Behavioral Therapy), DBT, Play Therapy. I use many modalities within my therapies, I'm an Expert Witness for DCF, Family & Drug Courts
I value a Client Centered Approach that focuses on what the client is ready to work on. I make sure to engage in supportive reflection as well as the ability to incorporate psychoeducation and specilized therapies to assist the client in moving forward. I keep in mind that everyone has their own norms, values, level of function and cultural foundations.
