Hi, I’m Jen! My pronouns are she/they. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-A), a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), a Certified Advanced Grief Counseling Specialist (CAGCS) and a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-275). I utilize an existential approach to therapy that incorporates somatic awareness, mindfulness based practices and focuses on your individual needs and goals for therapy. My practice is non-judgmental, trauma-informed, and collaborative in an effort to cultivate trust, safety, and respect. I value all dimensions of human diversity and I am a proud accomplice to the LGBTQAI+ community.
As a lifelong animal lover I am passionate about working with veterinary medicine professionals, understanding the unique stressors faced by those in helping and high-intensity professions. I have experience and education in LGBTQAI+ experiences (including gender dysphoria, gender exploration & gender transition), Brainspotting, Grief, and Eco-Therapy.

Groups
LGBTQ Adolescent Therapy & Support Group
An adolescent therapy support group for youth who identify as gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, transgender, non-binary, questioning or queer. This is a safe space for LGBTQ youth to share experiences, find support and build community. Group meets twice a month in Prairieville, LA. Pre-registration is required. Investment: $30 per group session. Insurance is not accepted.
