About
Making the decision to seek help from a therapist is a hard one that takes courage, so you deserve credit for coming to this point. I believe that the relationship between you and your therapist is one of the most important parts of the therapeutic process. Therefore, I will work very hard to build trust and rapport with you, in order to give you a place that you feel safe opening up about your feelings, vulnerabilities, and weaknesses. I work with older teens (18+), adults, and parents helping to create change where they identify a concern.
I have found that no matter how old my clients are, many of them feel overwhelmed in their lives and unable to cope. If this sounds familiar, I can help you learn to identify what you are feeling, strategies to cope, and effective ways to communicate your needs.
