I research and write about the psychological and spiritual development of aging women and work almost exclusively with older women (50+). I help women with anxiety, depression, empty nest, trauma, and mental illness, but I also have expertise in caretaking, chronic illness, and death and dying. I studied at the University of Chicago (MA, religious studies), the University of Texas Austin (BA, literature and philosophy), and received my clinical training in mental health from the University of North Texas (MS, counseling). I am EMDR trained. I regularly participate in advanced study programs in Jungian psychoanalysis.
Please note: I am not the best fit for clients seeking help with parenting, couples counseling, or who are struggling with serious substance use disorders. I live in a very remote location and am not usually available for crisis support between sessions. If you are not in Texas then my services are considered "coaching." I do not take insurance.
