I believe that in order for therapy to be effective, it has to be individualized to your specific needs, meaning my approach is flexible and responsive to your unique situation. The type of therapy I practice is meant to engage you in a collaborative working relationship, where your strengths are honored and respected, your feedback is taken seriously, and we work together to help address the challenges you are experiencing. I try to be respectful of and responsive to what will be helpful to you in session, to assist you in addressing the concerns that brought you to therapy.
I consider myself to largely work as a generalist, meaning I see clients who present with a variety of different issues. But I do have a specific interest in women's health and well being, and I have worked extensively with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, adjustment/life-transition issues & trauma.
