Greetings! I am a licensed psychologist trained in both clinical and forensic psychology. I have an Interjurisdictional Practice Certificate that allows me to practice in over 40 states, and I am formally licensed in Texas, New York, and New Mexico. I obtained my doctorate at Sam Houston State University in 2009 after completing a pre-doctoral internship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. I completed a postdoctoral clinical fellowship at Scott & White Clinic in College Station. In working with my psychotherapy and assessment clients, I aim to provide opportunities for values-based living and emotional growth.
Although I trained in a variety of psychological approaches, I have specialized training and experience in the treatment of anxiety, trauma, depression, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. I also have training and experience in psychological assessment.
My training in forensic psychology allows me to provide psycho-legal consultation and expert witness testimony to courts and attorneys (prosecution and defense). My expertise is in the areas of competence to stand trial/fitness to proceed, sanity/responsibility, diminished capacity, mitigation, and risk of future dangerousness.
