About
I understand that it can be difficult to seek help and I strive to create an environment that is safe, where trust has been established so that difficult issues can be discussed. Are you struggling to communicate with a loved one or family member? Have you recently faced significant changes or losses? Is there a thought pattern or behavior that you cannot control? I can offer a place to be heard, to tell your story, to understand how and why you get stuck, and to have the tools you need to move forward in life.
I have worked with families, children and teens, couples, and individuals as a therapist, caseworker, and in educational settings. One of my passions is to see strong families that support one another. I work from a Family Systems perspective, using aspects of CBT, ACT, strengths-based therapy, and much more to help you deal with issues in your life.
Whether you are currently dealing with a life transition or an ongoing struggle that has burdened you for years, I offer a safe place to share your struggles, understand what is holding you back, and gain competence to get through difficulties . If your faith is an important part of your life, I can, at your request, include a faith-based perspective.
