I work within a Cognitive Behavioral framework but am trained in a variety of techniques and frequently incorporate them into the treatment I provide. I am intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and have extensive experience working with depressed, suicidal and self-injuring teens and their families. Additionally, I am trained to work with children with disruptive behaviors and their parents. I also conduct psychoeducational evaluations to determine appropriate school placement, identify learning issues and offer academic recommendations.
I believe that it is important to tailor each individual's treatment so that it best suits his/her needs.
