Helping people from late teens through adulthood is my passion. Using cognitive behavioral therapy, I focus on ways to help change thoughts and behaviors. I have many years of experience working with individuals, families, and couples teaching them methods to cope with difficult situations and how to take control of their lives. Some people need a few counseling sessions, while others may need more extensive help in learning behavioral change. My experience includes aiding people in managing anxiety, anger, depressive symptoms, and ways to cope with chronic mental illness such as Bipolar and mood disorders or just life today.
I also teach how to communicate effectively, increase trust, set better boundaries, and to improve relationships with your partner or your children of all ages.
I see people who want to pay privately or use their insurance. I am on most insurance plans including most BC/BS, Aetna, United Healthcare and Meritan. However, every plan is complicated, so please call your plan to confirm that I am a provider.
