I offer psychological consultation and treatment for teens, adults, couples, and families who are struggling with a difficult challenge. I strive to provide a warm, friendly environment where all can feel safe, comfortable and confident about coping with the challenge presented, whether it be a life-changing event (for example a traumatic event, a life transition such as divorce, or the death of a loved one) or a psychological difficulty such as depression, anger, or anxiety, to name a few.
I have a special interest in working with emergency service personnel and their families regarding the unique challenges that such a lifestyle presents. I am a Certified First Responder Counselor (CFRC) I see my role as a facilitator in the healing/coping process, and I am certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapy.
I am committed to helping patients gain the skills and confidence to turn challenges into opportunities for growth. Many have remarked I have a calm, soothing demeanor and noticed my genuine high regard for patients. Many have also told me our work together has made a significant positive difference in their lives.
