My name is Jennifer Kroeker and I am a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist licensed in the state of Kansas. I also have specialized training in Somatic Experiencing, which is a gentle mind-body approach to healing trauma. I tailor my approach to the needs of each client, but I most frequently use mindfulness based cognitive behavioral therapy and somatic approaches to help my clients regulate their nervous systems.
I work with my clients to help them determine what they would like to get out of therapy. I help my clients to set realistic goals about what improvements they would like to see in themselves, their lives, or their relationships.
I understand that starting therapy can be scary and overwhelming. Because of this, the first few sessions will mostly be about getting to know each other and creating a place of safety. I never want sessions to be overwhelming for my clients, so I am okay with taking things as slowly.
