I utilize a solution focused based therapy technique that will help you identify strengths within yourself to overcome your current difficulties. I will collaborate with you to formulate and work towards goals that you have for your life. I also utilize motivational interviewing techniques to engage your intrinsic motivation in order to change behavior. I see clients for a variety of different needs including depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, grief and anger management. I enjoying working with all ages from children to adults.
Play therapy techniques are utilized with children to engage them in the "language" in which they communicate best. (PLAY!!!) I enjoy working with parents to identify the child's current and future needs for success.
Our practice is owned by Dr. Joy Wilson who is a certified Play Therapist. We have a wide variety of tools and supplies to incorporate in child play therapy session.
