About
At times life can be overwhelming and it is difficult to know where to turn for help. Circumstances may seem out of control and do not make sense. Seeking support from a compassionate therapist can be useful. As a therapist I take into account the whole person and help you through your concerns. I offer a non-judgmental, supportive environment for you to express your full experience. I want you to feel safe knowing that you are being listened to and valued. Together, we can process, develop coping methods, and grow your inner strength to face what challenges have caused you to feel distress or concern. Note: See my COVID19 message.
I use a combination of humanistic, interpersonal, Mindfulness, and CBT techniques to help clients meet personal goals. Developing coping and mindfulness skills are approaches I use to help access untapped strengths and possible missing pieces for positive change.
I see children age 10-up, adults, & elders. I enjoy the whole-life developmental process & believe we seek understanding of our lives at every age. I have experience in anxiety, depression, pregnancy-related challenges, trauma (adults), Advanced Care Planning, and more. I value empowering my clients for positive change in life.
