Life can be challenging and we all have innate ways that we try to cope but sometimes we reach a point where we need help. Maybe there’s a specific event that has happened, perhaps you’re noticing patterns in your life you don’t understand, or sometimes our physical health may be a clue that something more is going on. We so often feel alone in our struggles and my role is to walk alongside you as we work together to better understand what’s going on and how to address it. This work may involve an exploration of past experiences, as well as building an appreciation for your uniqueness and ways to create a life to best support you.
My approach to therapy is integrated and collaborative based on my client’s needs, but often includes mindfulness and other approaches to build mind-body connections. Sessions are often exploratory in nature to build self-awareness, but can also be focused on specific goals we work on together to build a life more aligned with your values.
Through my own journey, I understand how hard it can be to take the first steps in prioritizing mental health. I care about all my clients and am honored to have the ability to not only support them in the hard times but also celebrate the good.
