I am a cognitive-behavioral psychologist with more than a decade of experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults on the Autism spectrum, as well as those with diagnoses such as ADHD, OCD, and anxiety disorders. I also have extensive experience in diagnostic assessment for individuals of all ages.
At the outset of working with clients, I provide a comprehensive intake, and I assess progress throughout treatment. Based on the client's needs, I incorporate CBT interventions including cognitive therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT).
At this time, I am offering Radically Open Dialectical Therapy (RO-DBT) skills classes through telehealth for individuals ages 18 and older. RO-DBT is an evidence-based, cognitive-behavioral approach that is geared towards helping individuals who struggle with problems resulting from too much self-control, such as emotional loneliness and perfectionism.

RO-DBT Skills Class

Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT) is an intervention for people who struggle with difficulties related to over-control, including extreme perfectionism and emotional loneliness. People with high self control tend to have traits that society views favorably, such as being hard working, high-achieving and attentive to detail. However, too much self-control can lead to behaviors that interfere with building meaningful social connections. RO-DBT classes offer the opportunity to learn skills that will help you feel more connected with others and better manage mood and anxiety.
