I work with clients to address issues related to depression, anxiety, adjustment/life transitions, trauma, marital conflict, divorce and more. Some areas of focus include couple’s issues, family conflict, and affirmative counseling for LGBTQIA+ individuals. In addition, I have completed Level 1 and Level 2 Training in Gottman Methods Couples Therapy.
I utilize techniques grounded in attachment theory, such as EFT and family systems, along with pragmatic methods, such as CBT. I am a licensed (LPC in TX; LMHC in WA and IA) and board-certified counselor (NCC), and hold a board-certified telemental health provider (BC-TMH) credential. I have worked as a licensed counselor since 2011.
