Attending the first session with a therapist can be scary, especially if you have never been in therapy. I try hard to make the client feel comfortable and safe, and let them know it is normal to not know what to say. I enjoy working with each individual client to help them navigate through different issues and situations they may be facing. We will work together to create a unique therapeutic experience for your current stage of life. I work with adolescents through geriatric populations.
My main goal is helping individuals develop strategies to improve their life skills and obtain better outcomes in daily living, while providing you a safe non judgmental space to do this work. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders to name a few. I often utilize CBT and DBT models of therapy, plus many other types.
