Welcome! My name is Jennifer Hudgins and I’m a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 15 years of clinical experience. I am licensed in both California and Florida. I bring over 15 years of therapy experience with a broad range of clients. I have had other careers that I feel bring a unique level of understanding and perspective of people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
My clinical style is informal, non-judgmental, and goal-focused. Trust is everything. I use humor (when appropriate) to break the ice and keep us grounded. My approach is strength-based and solution-focused. Modalities I utilize include CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Family Systems, Attachment Theory, and more.
My communication style is informal, warm, and non-judgmental. It is important for me to create a safe space to facilitate the therapeutic process. I prefer to adapt to the client’s style, rather than force a client into a rigid format.
