My name is Jennifer Holloway, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. My approach to therapy centers around relationships and connection, as we do not live our lives in a vacuum and often, we are seeking ways to build meaningful connection with others and within ourselves. My communication style is open, direct and kind. You will never have to wonder what I am thinking, as showing up in the therapy space with congruence and authenticity is a priority to ensure you feel safe. I have worked with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, providing individual, family and couple’s therapy, as well as EAP & Equine-Assisted EMDR.
I am currently working on certification for EMDR & use other approaches such as DBT, IFS, Structural/Family Systems, Gottman, & EFT. I am trained in Equilateral: Equine Assisted EMDR and EAP through OK Corral. Common concerns that I work with are anxiety, trauma, family or marital concerns, mood/personality disorders, attachment concerns, separation/divorce.
The first session can feel overwhelming and often people wonder where to start or what to share. I will provide guidance and prompting along the way so that we can focus on getting to know one another and ensure that you are able to effectively communicate your needs and are able to feel heard and understood.
