I am an independent licensed clinical social worker with over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, college students, and adults. I specialize in treating anxiety, autism, relationship issues, depression, life transitions, and behavioral patterns that may be holding one back from experiencing a life they desire. I use evidence-based methods of treatment. By establishing a collaborative relationship, I help individuals learn how to self-regulate, self-advocate, build relationships, confidence, and problem solve. I also provide parent coaching to help parents learn how to best support their child's unique needs.
I use an integrated approach, incorporating elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Social Thinking and Solution Focused Therapy, to help my clients change ineffective behavioral patterns and develop more helpful ways of thinking.
I believe in the power of helping one to embrace themselves and support clients to be who they are, while also helping to identify tools and strategies to live a more fulfilling life. My approach to therapy is to create a caring practical space that is tailored to each individual's unique need so that one can achieve their goals.
