Jennifer Harrison is not currently accepting new clients.
Note: My practice is full, I am not currently accepting new clients. I have over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, with 13 of those years offering direct psychotherapy through virtual and in-person platforms. My primary background is in trauma and addiction, but I am not limited to these areas and work a fair amount with anxiety, relationship issues, depression, disability, life transitions, stress management and anger problems. I have extensive experience working with veterans, as well as college aged students and professionals in the tech, medical and academic fields seeking flexibility with online sessions.
My broadly based psychodynamic approach is trauma-informed, attachment-oriented and focused on working with the strengths of the individual as a foundation of healing. I specialize in working with the body and mind to assist in regulating the nervous system through cultivation of depth-oriented self awareness, relaxation and mindfulness based skills.
Therapy effectiveness is 85% the relationship and the connection one has with their therapist, and a lot less about the tools or methods. While I am certified in many useful modalities, it is our work together that informs the best approach toward harnessing one’s innate healing capacities. All of this enhancement of self is an honor to witness and support.
