My name is Jennifer Hardy. I am Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 25 years' experience working with individuals, families, and couples. I have had the privilege of supporting a diverse population, including foster youth, sex workers, transgender youth and adults, and individuals involved in the criminal justice system. I focus on encouraging people to build upon their strengths in order to help them face and move through challenges.
I have typically worked with clients who are in a more marginalized demographic, including sex offenders, sex workers, severely mentally ill people who are involved in the criminal justice system, juveniles who are gang-affiliated, and individuals who have been sexually abused.
Given that most of my clients have experienced varying degrees of trauma throughout their lives, I am comfortable discussing and treating deep and complex trauma. I am comfortable exploring sexual identity and transgender issues. Most of my clients struggle with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and family dynamics.
