About
No one should suffer from unnecessary psychological distress. I specialize in "mindfulness" and cognitive-behavior therapy for children, adolescents and adults. I have been practicing for more than twenty years and have helped many people achieve life goals that had previously seemed out of their reach. I am fortunate that I love what I do. This is evident in my dedication to my clients. Their legacies are my rewards. My therapeutic approach enables me to positively impact individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, obsessions/ compulsions, phobias, post traumatic stress, dysregulated moods and delusional thinking.
As a cognitive-behaviorist, sessions focus on: learning to challenge faulty assumptions and thinking errors, developing thought stopping strategies, mood modulation, imagery exercises, desensitization, as well as training in assertiveness, anger control and social skills. Breaking co-dependency patterns and developing emotional language is also a focus of treatment.
Coaching individuals through behavioral changes is an important part of creating new behavioral patterns and my passionate approach is conducive for success. Clients find me easily accessible via text or telephone for extra coaching between sessions. I offer evening and Saturday hours to accommodate work and school schedules.
