I am an experienced psychotherapist with a psychodynamic orientation. I use an integrated approach, often incorporating Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and trauma processing techniques, such as EMDR. My goal is to assess your individual needs and how you like to work. Our first session should help you feel comfortable. My style is warm and informal. I listen with compassion and kind respect. My goal is to help clients grow, make changes they want to make, have a better understanding of their strengths and abilities, and lead a more fulfilling life.
I have a specialization in the integrated treatment of Eating Disorders. I also have extensive experience in working with relationship issues, various stressors, and the challenges of different life stages. I help with depression, anxiety, trauma, bereavement and managing life's inevitable challenges. I work with adults, adolescents and children.
I have offices in two locations. My Riverdale, New York office has a welcoming feeling. My Columbus Circle, Manhattan space is in a comfortable high rise, convenient to all transportation. I work with adults, adolescents and children and am happy to provide additional information about my practice.
