About
I specialize working with clients who are experiencing depression and anxiety. I have extensive experience providing therapy to clients who are challenged by suicidal and self harm behaviors, anxiety disorders, depression, and eating disorders. I focus on teaching positive coping skills and expanding on existing strengths within the context of a warm, accepting therapeutic relationship. I use humor and empathy to build rapport, knowing that clients are more willing to make changes when they feel genuinely understood. I also provide expert parent consultation and family therapy that supports youth in achieving their personal goals.
I utilize current research and proven techniques to guide therapy whenever possible. I am an experienced provider of Dialectical Behavior Therapy and other research based cognitive behavior therapies that successfully help clients achieve their goals.
I know how important it is to find a helping professional you can trust to be there as a support, a source of knowledge, and to provide guidance as you navigate your personal challenges and/or psychological symptoms.
