Jennifer Grimsley-Aloy
Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LCSW
Being a parent is one of the most challenging, yet rewarding roles we enter into with little to no training or education, other than what we have observed growing up. Often as parents we feel pressure that we should know how to handle any challenges we encounter along the way and be successful in each moment. This is a huge expectation we put on ourselves as parents and absolutely not realistic! Being a child or teen growing up in this complex world also comes with its own pressures and challenges that are new and overwhelming at times. Having "the right tools for the job" is necessary.
I'm an adolescent specialist providing therapy in a safe and non-judgmental environment. We collaborate together to reach your goals and facilitate healthier relationships and connection. I will teach you positive communication skills, healthy coping strategies, and problem-solving tools in order to empower you to take on challenges that come your way.
I consider it an honor to be able to work with you and your adolescent to highlight the strengths you already have and build upon them. We will work together to increase your confidence as you learn new ways to navigate your future with more ease, skill, and success. I look forward to connecting with you.
