I practice therapy from an integrative perspective with a strong foundation in psychodynamic and relational theories. I believe that early life experiences continue to affect both how we interact with the world and the dynamics of our current relationships. I work with clients and couples to gain deeper insight into relational patterns, interpretations, and attachment needs in order to increase self-awareness, emotion regulation, coping skills, and well-being. I seek to foster a collaborative therapy relationship that honors each client’s developmental stage and personal beliefs. **I am available on Thurs afternoons/evenings.**

While I assist clients with many emotional and behavioral challenges, including anxiety and mood disorders, I specialize in working with relational and developmental trauma (e.g. difficult childhoods and care givers), life transitions, and relational difficulties in both individuals and couples. I am an advanced therapy extern currently in a PhD program.

I believe that the therapy relationship can be transformative and a powerful source of connection and change. Through empathy and exploration, we will work to help you to gain insight into yourself and your relationships as well as help you to connect to your emotions in order to ease emotional stress and to allow you to pursue your goals.

Building Resilience Group

This group helps clients to better understand how traumatic experiences can impact their body, emotions, and relationships in order to become more aware of and comfortable with all emotions, to identify current coping skills that are leading to unhealthy results, and to begin building adaptive coping skills for distressing feelings. Clients will be encouraged to talk about how their traumatic experience(s) have impacted them but not discuss the details of the traumas themselves. If you are interested, please email admin@ciracenter.org.
