Hello. My name is Jennifer (Jen) Gobel. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) practicing virtually via teletherapy in Ohio. I received my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. I have worked in a variety of settings since becoming a counselor and have found my niche in private practice. I have worked with individuals ranging in ages from 5 to 65+ with issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, and much more. I have enjoyed the unique characteristics that each person brings as we are all such interesting individuals.
I employ a person centered approach to allow clients to dive into the concerns that are most important to them and utilize cognitive behavioral therapy among other things to help client's reach their personal goals of counseling.
I thrive on creating a safe, inclusive environment in which all clients can not only feel safe and secure but seen and heard as well. As we are all unique individuals with so many differences my goal is to always recognize these and make all of my clients feel valued and accepted.
