Jen is passionate about working with children and adults going through transitional periods, particularly divorce, separation, and custodial situations. Depression and anxiety can be experienced at many different points in life. Through counseling, Jen is able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.
With several years of experience as a school-based therapist at all grade levels, Jen has extensive knowledge of the unique challenges presented by working with ages 4 - 18. Jen is trained in TF-CBT, Adlerian Play Therapy, and sand tray. She is working towards her Registered Play Therapist (RPT) certification. Jen also has experience as a consultant for family law attorneys to inform and assist legal professionals and their clients with the psychological component of divorce and custodial issues.
