I offer a non-judgmental, holistic, supportive approach to therapy with a focus on positive self-improvement, transformation & wellness. I believe that everyone can benefit from therapy even when there is not an immediate challenge or crisis. Goals in therapy are achieved collaboratively. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, loss/bereavement, mood/personality/eating disorders, substance abuse, ADHD & changing destructive patterns. I work with individuals (children/adolescents/adults), families, couples, and groups. I offer animal-assisted interventions that include therapy dogs, horses, miniature horses and donkeys.
I have two certified therapy dogs who accompany me in my office-based sessions. I also offer equine-assisted mental health counseling sessions, a specialized form of animal-assisted therapy which partners with horses in the therapeutic process based on my research study which significantly reduced anxiety, depression and PTSD.
