After working in the field of mental health for over 15 years, personal experience led me to the specialty of reproductive mental health. I feel passionate about providing support to individuals, couples, and families at various stages of the reproductive process: pre-pregnancy, throughout treatment, and post partum. Each phase presents unique challenges and stressors; be it family planning, relationship stress, grief & loss, high risk pregnancy, postpartum issues, and everything in between. I hold a PhD in Psychology and am a licensed mental health counselor.
I am a member of and have obtained training in fertility and reproductive mental health through the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). These topics include, emotional impact of infertility treatment, contemporary family building, LGBTQIA+ family building, decisions surrounding donor egg/sperm/embryo, pregnancy loss and reproductive trauma
