Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LCSW, CADC, CODP I

I'm excited to say that I recently added EMDR to my therapist toolbox! In addition to the "classic" CBT, DBT and Motivational Interviewing, I decided that my practice with clients needed an upgrade and EMDR is an experience I am pleased to offer my clients that struggle with trauma, addictions or are just feeling "stuck" with traditional talk therapy. EMDR is a method of therapy that strengthens my desire to meet clients where they are at and work on the issues my client wants to address.
My experience as a social worker is vast, but my real passion is treating individuals that struggle with dual diagnosis- both mental health and addiction issues. In addition to addictions counseling , I have extensive experience working with clients who suffer from mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, psychosis and personality disorders.
I have the ability to schedule session times with my clients that work for their schedule, though I mostly see clients evenings and weekends.

Jennifer DiCostanzo's Groups
Now Recruiting- Relapse Prevention Process Group
Addiction to substances or processes don't take weekends off; Weekends are often the most difficult for people in terms of maintaining sobriety. My weekly relapse prevention group is a client centered gathering where individuals struggling with addiction to alcohol, drugs, gambling, sex, etc. can have a safe, non-judgmental therapeutic place to gain insight, build skills and receive peer support to enhance their recovery process.
