About
Life is challenging. Sometimes we feel overwhelmed and hopeless. Often, this leads us to feel lonely, sad, angry, and many other uncomfortable feelings. I am a Licensed Master Social Worker. I help people overcome trials while instilling hope and letting them know they aren't alone. Following six years active duty military service in the U.S. Air Force, I completed graduate school at the University of Michigan. I have more than 10 years clinical experience working with individuals, groups, families, and couples looking for guidance and support navigating life's challenges as well as serious mental illnesses.
I am trained to treat all mental illnesses to include depression, anxiety, trauma, loss, substance abuse, and personality disorders. I also specialize in working with military members, veterans, and their families. I use an integrative therapeutic approach tailored to the unique needs of each person I work with while utilizing Interpersonal Psychotherapy,
Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, insight-oriented therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy. I work with my patients to identify goals and formulate plans that work for them to make changes to reduce and even eliminate feelings and behaviors causing pain and distress in their lives.
