Aloha. My name is Jennifer De Costa and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT). I am based in Kamuela, Hawai’i working with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with adults and specialize in anxiety, depression, and grief. I use solution-focused therapy with a strength-based approach to empower my clients to make life-changing decisions.
My approach to therapy varies by the client’s strengths and personal resources. I use a collaborative approach to determine areas of strengths and needs together with the client. We build resources to get clients to the next level; whatever that might be.
At the tender age of 10, I had a big decision to make…MD or PhD. I decided to get a PhD because I wanted to help others. Almost 40 years later, I’m still enjoying the profession.
