Hi! My Name is Jenny Davis. I am a social worker who is committed to supporting and guiding clients through periods of transition and change. I firmly believe that we create and craft the meaning in our lives, but that we all get stuck sometimes.My approach to therapy is pretty direct. I want to help guide you toward constructing the kind of life that gives you a sense of meaning. I'm skilled in using a cognitive behavioral approach in my work with clients, however I'm flexible and can be more client centered and supportive as well.

I love working with adults, and I think I do well with anxiety and depression. Midlife and older adult clients really interest me as well. Finally, I have a keen interest in working with clients around issues of loss and grief. I am comfortable talking about illness and death.

A little bit about me...My undergrad degree was in psychology and I have a masters and a doctorate in social work. I'm a retired social work professor, and I currently volunteer at a local hospice facility. I've not only taught many courses in social work practice areas, but I've had lots of experience working directly with clients.
