I worked as a therapist for a local community mental health agency for 4 years, where I developed a specialty in working with adults, particularly around anxiety, depression, boundaries, and self esteem issues. I strive to provide a safe and non-judgmental space to explore feelings, decrease conflict, and work toward an individual's goals. My hope is that we can develop a relationship that feels comfortable and supportive. It is my belief that you are the expert on you, and that by working together, we can explore your strengths and skills.
My style is multifaceted; drawing from a variety of therapeutic models, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Narrative, Motivational Interviewing, Person Centered, & more. By utilizing various coping skills and approaches, I adjust interventions to serve each individual client.
