Are you looking for a queer identified therapist? Do you have a child/partner/family member in need of trans affirming counseling? I am taking new appointments! I am a gender therapist who is WPATH trained and focuses on working with the LGBTQIA population. approach is realistic, yet nurturing, and rooted in neuropsychology and the mind-body connection. I use an empathetic, warm style and infuse humor where I can. I work with clients in the present moment, drawing on past experiences and relationships to build personal insight. I am trained to write gender confirming letters of support.

My specialties include depression, anxiety, adult children of disordered parents, individuals struggling with transition, behavioral issues, parenting issues and transgender clients. I provide individual, family and couples counseling regardless of sexual orientation. I work from a family systems base and my preferred interventions are Cognitive Behavioral, Attachment and Psychodynamic therapies.

This practice is LGBTQ affirming, a member of WPATH and the Gender Non-Conforming Commission of Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago. We are committed to the long-term evolution and healing of all people regardless of race, sex, gender, gender identity or ethnicity.
