About
Change can be difficult, even with something you looked forward to such as going to college, having a baby, or starting a new job. Unanticipated or unwanted change can be especially difficult, like the loss of a loved one, a relationship ending, or watching your child or young adult struggle. My approach to therapy combines warmth and compassion with practical problem solving and coping strategies.
I use the following therapeutic approaches: Internal Family Systems, Relational Cultural and Psychodynamic Theories, along with CBT and Mindfulness to help you identify problematic patterns and make meaningful change. I am also trained in EMDR, an evidenced-based trauma therapy, that has been empirically validated to offer clients relief.
I understand that choosing the right therapist can be a challenge. For that reason, I offer a free 30-minute in person consultation to help you make your decision.
